For established patients with ongoing health concerns, recheck visits are an essential part of ensuring they are healing properly and responding well to treatment.

During a recheck visit, we assess your pet’s progress, discuss any changes in symptoms, and adjust treatment plans as needed. Follow-up care may include:

✔ A physical exam (for in-person visits)
✔ Reviewing response to medications or treatment
✔ Adjusting dosages or prescribing additional therapies
✔ Follow-up diagnostics (such as blood work or ultrasound)

For certain conditions, a telehealth consultation may be appropriate, allowing us to check in on your pet’s progress and provide guidance without the need for an in-person visit. However, if further hands-on care is needed, we’ll arrange an in-home recheck to ensure your pet receives the best possible treatment.
